Theo Epstein, through media relations director John Blake, said that the Red Sox have not been talking to the Mets. That the story was a fabrication.

Meanwhile...the Red Sox are leading 6-5. Sorry for not updating you all, but we (the media) were downstairs talking to David Ortiz and Clay Buchholz. Not sure how the runs were scored, since we were in the clubhouse for that. (Just to explain, that is the reason sometimes the blog isn't completely updated during spring training.
