Crisp to make trip

As reported by Jackie MacMullan:

Red Sox center fielder Coco Crisp, outfielder Bobby Kielty, and pitcher Curt Schilling are going to make the trip to Japan with the Red Sox this week.

It had been questionable whether Crisp would take the flight to the Far East because of a groin injury throughout most of spring training.

  1. Is Schilling going only because that's where the trainers will be? Or are the Red Sox doing him a favor by letting him go.
