No. 24?

Apparently Jonathan Papelbon was a little bit absent-minded this morning, as he seems to have forgotten his uniform top. How did that happen, you ask? I have no idea.

So Papelbon is down in the bullpen right now, wearing Manny Ramirez's No. 24, getting ready to come in the game after Jon Lester is done with his two innings. All I know is that we're so used to No. 58 being in the bullpen and No. 24 being in left field that it looks truly bizarre to see that number on a mound.

(In other notes, Lester gave up a single to right field to Carlos Gomez to open the game. Gomez promptly stole second base.)
