Oki-Doki

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff March 25, 2008 09:01 AM

I'd argue that the reception for Hideki Okajima, who just came in the game, surpassed that for Daisuke Matsuzaka earlier in the evening. Flashbulbs are exploding, the arena is full of people clapping and singing along to the "Oki-Doki" song, and everyone is standing.

Of course, that might have been helped by Brandon Moss's clutch homer in the prior half inning.

Still tied, 4-4, as we head into the bottom of the ninth.
