Sox scout has Davidson roots

Happiest man in the pressbox tonight was Sox scout Gus Quattlebaum, a Davidson alum who was stunned by the ease with which his alma mater, a No. 10 seed, dispatched Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament. Quattlebaum was frantically looking for a place to watch the game, because out here CBS was showing Stanford-Texas.
