Sweet Caroline

Seems a bit odd, especially since the A's are the home team.

Oh well.

Nothing here -- other than the score, of course -- has favored the A's. They've taken a serious back seat to the Red Sox on this trip. Doesn't seem as if they're all that happy about it, from what I've heard.

Bryan Corey now in to pitch the eighth inning.
