Jon Lester threw seven straight balls, to Joe Mauer and Delmon Young, loading the bases for Justin Morneau. He threw another ball, before Morneau swung through a strike. Morneau then grounded out to shortstop Jed Lowrie, who started a double play. The Twins did score, though, putting the Red Sox in the hole for the first time this spring.
