Well, so much for that.

Daisuke Matsuzaka can no longer win this game, as Kyle Snyder just allowed a single to center field, followed by a two-run home run to right field by Jack Hannahan. The homer came on a 1-0 pitch and gave the lead right back to the A's.

Oakland's up, 4-3.
