11-3 (final)

Posted by Julian Benbow, Globe Staff April 18, 2008 10:20 PM

Fly ball, ground ball, ground ball and Mike Timlin ends it for the Sox, 11-3.

Matsuzaka picks up his fourth win. Medoza takes his second loss. That game lasted 3 hours 13 minutes, enjoyed it all.

Thanks for having me. Figured I'd post some of the better comments I read all night (no names) just because.

Unless there's anything major, I'm all done. Have a good night.

Some chatter:

The Rangers are so bad, we don't need a 1st baseman!!

Traded it for a copy editor to be named later

Julian Benbow, welcome to Boston. Guys like this have jobs but Lobel doesn't......
Hey, I watched the Wire 5 season. I feel bad enough already.

Does Wally the Green Monster get a World Series Ring? We were talking about it at the school where I work the other day (St. Patrick's in Lowell) and no one knew, so I thought that you might know. Thanks!!

Don’t know if they make rings that big. But if they did would they have to make it with fur?

where's amalie?
To my left. Doing a fantastic job essentially all by her lonesome.

Why is Manny out?
Guess he can get a little rest. Tek came out too.

Looks like someone got called up from the sentinel & enterprise! have fun.
Actually, Globe North. But you get the idea.

From an alum, and friend of Sean Casey's while we were at Richmond... GO SPIDERS! Had a few friends at VCU as well, so at least a little bit of love for the Rams. It's really exciting to have Casey on the team, and I'm truly happy that he's done as well as he has. Living in the Twin Cities I'll be there when the Sox are in town and am just hoping that Casey will still be in the lineup (although it'll be great to get Mike Lowell back soon). Maybe I'll be able to get his autograph on more than just his rookie card! Casey for mayor of Boston!

VCU Football. Still undefeated.
