That certainly looked like an error on Dustin Pedroia at second base.
Pedroia mishandled the ball as he attempted to transfer it from his glove, letting Robinson Cano reach. It was called a hit. We'll let you know if that changes.
We've also gotten word that both teams appealed the error on Alex Rodriguez last night, on the ball hit by Pedroia. It was certainly a play that generated some debate around the press box. If the ruling is reversed, that would give Chien-Ming Wang a three-hitter.
