Fireworks at Yankee Stadium

NEW YORK - Lots of activity here so far.

Manny Ramirez is now 14-for-26 against Chien-Ming Wang after a run-producing double in the first inning, scoring Dustin Pedroia (walk).

However, the Yanks answered with three in the bottom half of the inning against Sox starter Clay Buchholz. Back-to-back homers by Bobby Abreu (with Derek Jeter aboard) and a solo shot by Alex Rodriguez did the young Sox pitcher in.

A-Rod's homer was his 522nd. For Sox fans that sadly passes him over Ted Williams and Willie McCovey, both of whom hit 521 homers.

The Yankees lead, 3-1.
