Free coffee?

Here's another reason to cheer for the Red Sox.

Every time the Sox win a game from now through June 24, Dunkin' Donuts patrons will receive a free 16-ounce iced coffee or iced tea with any oven-toasted flatbread sandwich or personal pizza purchased after 11 a.m. The promotion is available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts shops throughout Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and southern New Hampshire.

Jonathan Papelbon will star in a new commercial to launch this ‘Red Sox Win, You Win’ promotion.

  1. I assume this is only on days after a Sox win, but you don't mention it. Is that the case?

  1. So.. is this only when the Sox win or what? Otherwise it has nothing to do with the Red Sox at all :\

  1. Is Dunkin' Donuts paying the Globe to post this? If yes, why are you posting it like news? If no, why are you running ads in a new column? Either way, how incredibly lame....

  1. I assume this is only valid if the Red Sox win? (Given the name of the promotion).

My question is, who drinks coffee with their pizza? Maybe it would be more popular if they gave away a beer!

  1. OK, because they excluded CT, I'll be boycotting Dunkin Donuts for the entire summer.

  1. How long after the Red Sox win is this offer available? Is it the entire day after the win? Until the next game? Are there certain time limits on it?
