Game over

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff April 5, 2008 04:08 PM

TORONTO - This very bad game has ended in a 10-2 loss for the Red Sox, who have now bowed twice to AL East rival Toronto, today before 35,238.

The silver lining?

Kevin Youkilis got his day off. Julian Tavarez pitched well in mop-up. Clay Buchholz putched five good innings, victimized by an error by first baseman Sean Casey in the fourth. He struck out seven and threw 89 pitches. J.D. Drew swung the bat well. Dustin Pedroia had a couple of hits. Everyone seemed to come out of it healthy.
