Good morning from Fenway

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff April 20, 2008 11:23 AM

Terry Francona indicated he may give Manny Ramirez a day off Monday, but only if Coco Crisp is ready to play after nursing his hamstrings the past few days.

Jed Lowrie is starting at his third position - second base - after Francona decided to give Dustin Pedroia a rest.

Bartolo Colon was throwing this morning, will take Monday off, and then begin his throwing program on Tuesday if all is well.

Here are today's lineups:

Boston:

Ellsbury-CF
Lowrie-2B
Ortiz-DH
Ramirez-LF
Youkilis-3B
Drew-RF
Casey-1B
Cash-C
Lugo-SS
Wakefield-P

Rangers:
Kinsler-2B
Young-SS
Hamilton-CF
Bradley-DH
Blalock-3B
Catalanotto-LF
Murphy-RF
Laird-C
Bressard-1B
Millwood-P

  1. I love Tito has Youk hit behind Manny...it is now becoming the best 1-2-3 punch in MLB
