Jed Who? Lugo sizzling

Julio Lugo is sizzling hot at the plate. The Sox shortstop extended his hitting streak to eight games with a two-out second-inning single and is now 13 for 39 during the streak.

Young Jed Lowrie, who has been used in starting roles around the Sox infield and is hitting .375, did not get a start last night.
