Lester out

Jon Lester lasted only 5-1/3 innings tonight. He left trailing 4-2. David Aardsma pitched effectively in the sixth to retire two batters.

Lester went 5-1/3 innings allowing 5 hits, 4 runs, 4 walks, no strikeouts. He threw 97 pitches. It's the first time in his major league career he failed to record a strikeout. He's been in 29 games and made 28 starts.
