Lucky 13

Since there isn't a whole lot of offense between the two teams -- though Evan Longoria added a solo homer to lead off the inning, bringing the score to 2-0 -- Josh Beckett's strikeout seem to be the big positive for the Red Sox right now.

Josh Beckett just set a new career high with 13 strikeouts this afternoon, getting Gabe Gross looking for the 13th.
