Rangers come to Fenway
A snapshot look at the four-game series between the Red Sox (10-7) and Texas Rangers (7-9) at Fenway Park that kicks off tonight. The Sox will play 13 of their next 16 games at home.
Tonight (7:05, NESN, WRKO 680): RHP Daisuke Matsuzaka (3-0, 2.70) vs. RHP Luis Mendoza (0-1, 1.80).
Saturday (7:05 p.m., NESN, WRKO 680): LHP Jon Lester (1-2, 5.31) vs. RHP Jason Jennings (0-3, 8.79). ** Saturday's game will be televised on one of the NESNplus channels listed here.
Sunday (1:35 p.m., NESN, WRKO 680): RHP Tim Wakefield (1-0, 3.18) vs. RHP Kevin Millwood (1-2, 2.42).
Monday (11:05 a.m., NESN, WRKO 680): RHP Clay Buchholz (0-1, 6.75) vs. LHP Kason Gabbard (1-0, 2.41).
Head to head: This is the first of three series. Last season, the teams split four Fenway games.
Miscellany: Texas has won five of eight games on the road but lost six of eight at home . . . Millwood was forced to make an early exit Tuesday against the Angels after he was hit on his left shin by a line drive; he allowed four runs on nine hits . . . Reliever Eddie Guardado (shoulder) is expected to come off the disabled list Sunday.

Is Kason Gabbard going to be presented with a World Series ring during the series?
Some more miscellany...Lance Armstrong, who is expected to run the Boston Marathon on Monday, will be throwing out the first pitch on Saturday night.
The Monday game is on WEEI, not WRKO. Weekday day games and all Wednesday games are always on WEEI.
No.
