Sox on the board

The Red Sox scored one run in the the first inning, with Dustin Pedroia coming across on Kevin Youkilis's double to right field. J.D. Drew then walked to load the bases for Jason Varitek with two outs. But Varitek couldn't come through, grounding to the pitcher for the final out of the inning.
