How about batting Lugo 7th and sitting Coco for Ellsbury and have him lead off? Much better situation in my mind.. I realize Ellsbury creates a lefty on lefty situation, but Im sure he'll have better luck than Lugo.
I totally respect Francona and vowed to not second guess him after I heard the words "If you manage like a fan, you end up a fan", which I had never heard and it really struck home..... but for heaven's sake.. doesn't this line up look so much better?

From my humble and naieve perspective, it looks like he is trying to space the rally killers out in the line up to be sure he kills every rally.
