  1. Why does it seem like Wakefield always gets stuck with the split-squad lineup? That being said, these guys will probably go out there tonight and throw a 10-spot on the scorebard.

  1. There are 3 starters that are sitting on the bench tonight (Drew, Varitek, and Casey), but out of those three, Drew is being replaced by Ellsbury, who should be a starter anyway, Varitek is being replaced by Kevin Cash, who is now Wakefield's personal catcher, and Casey isn't supposed to be a starter in the first place. There shouldn't be much of a drop-off between this lineup and the norm from a Wakefield start. Personally, I'm looking forward to watching the shortstop of the future, Jed Lowrie.
