Windy days

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff April 24, 2008 01:51 PM

There's a definite wind here at Fenway Park this afternoon. (It's 18 miles per hour out of the NNW.)

That just helped Justin Masterson. Torii Hunter's shot to centerfield was tracked down by Coco Crisp in front of the track, but it was knocked down by the wind. Then Casey Kotchman hit one a long way (but foul) on a changeup. Masterson came right back on a changeup, which Kotchman swung through. He eventually got the Angels' first baseman to ground to second.

  1. No biggie - but the ball hit to the track was caught by Coco Crisp, who's starting in center today. Jacoby has the start in right.
