Brewers take lead

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff May 17, 2008 10:58 PM

The Red Sox just committed two straight errors, one by Mike Lowell and another by Alex Cora, which have helped turn this inning into a bit of a nightmare for the Sox. The Brewers have scored a run to bring themselves within one run of the Sox.

All the twists and turns have left Craig Hansen with men on second and third and two down in the seventh inning.

And Craig Counsell took a pitch down the right field line, out of the grasp of Kevin Youkilis. That scored both runners, pulling the Brewers out in front.
