Buchholz appears OK
Though Clay Buchholz's left foot slipped out from under him -- and hit the baseball, kicking it foul -- the starter appears to be fine. He has remained in the game, after the trainers and staff came out to check him for injury. He was lifting his left leg, perhaps to show them his left heel or calf or Achilles.
Gary Sheffield reached first on an infield single on the play.
