Buchholz laboring

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff May 12, 2008 08:19 PM

Clay Buchholz has allowed four runs through three innings and clearly has labored with his control, issuing four walks.

The Twins overturned a 3-2 deficit with two in the third. Buchholz walked Joe Mauer to start the third. After Justin Morneau singled to right, advancing Mauer to third, Michael Cuddyer singled to center scoring the tying run. Another walk and a fielder's choice on a grounder to shortstop by Delmon Young (with the runner gunned down at third) allowed the go-ahead run to come home.

It's 4-2, Twinkies.
