Changes in Sox lineup for 9th:
Righthander David Aardsma in relief of Beckett, Jed Lowrie in at second and Kevin Cash at catcher.

Beckett pitched 8 innings, gave up 7 hits, 4 runs, 3 home runs, 1 walk, struck out 5 and threw 100 pitches, 68 of them strikes.

  1. Great game but on NESN, why do we have to put up with commentator drivel? The commentators were talking about candles and what they pack. AND THEY GET PAID FOR DOING THIS?
