Double digits

With two walks by Craig Hansen, the Red Sox are now up to 10 walks tonight. That is the most the Sox have walked in one game since that game against the Yankees (with Josh Beckett starting). In that game the Red Sox walked 13 Yankees.

  1. I don't get the whining about Dice K's walks. He was leading 4-1 when he left and had allowed only two hits. He's hopefully going to be 5-0 and it seems you and Remy and Orsillo will be upset if he does. His ERA is 4 in the league. They implied he was lucky that the sox had hit two homers in the game. We'll isn't that what batters are supposed to do? Take a look in the stats and see how many more wins Dice K would have had last year had they scored any runs for him. What's the guy supposed to do?

  1. Well, they won, but it might as well be a loss to the Amalie. Dice K walked 8 batters!
