Tonight's game has been postponed due to rain.
It will be played tomorrow in the second game of a split doubleheader (separate admission). First game at 3:55 p.m., second game at 8:35 p.m.
If you've got tickets for last night's game, they are good for the night game.
Go home and get some sleep.

Bad jobe by the Sox in making the fans come to tohe park tonight.
have another beer
anyways tomorrow we will have more fun.
They really don't get it (or don't care to). This wasn't even close - anyone with access to weather radar could see the giant band of rain that moved in around 6. Anyone who listened to the forecasts knew this at noon. Even if you don't trust the weather folks, you could see it for yourself.
The Sox are so good about listening to the fans and improving the experience. So why are they so tone-deaf about rain delays and cancellations? To make us all travel into town in the rain, knowing it was going to rain all night? To have us sit around without a single update for two hours? Come on.
Tomorrow should be interesting... the 4pm game will probably get out between 7 and 7:30, just as the 8:35 pm crowd is arriving. 76,000 people coming and going. Can't wait.
Better than your typing ;)
What's sad for me is that we had really good tickets to take my dad in for his 84th birthday. We waited and then left at about 8:30. But the trip in took a toll on my dad and he can't come in tonight that late. I wish there was some way to get into another game another time but of course that is impossible without paying another lot of money for new tickets even if they were to be available. We know the risk of games being called, but having to schedule the next one so close and so late because of television rules (money) was a big disappointment to us. We so very excited to come in - something we can rarely do.
