BALTIMORE - The Sox go 4-6 on the road trip (and have dropped five out of their last six games). Hideki Okajima allowed a grand slam to Jay Payton as the Orioles took it 6-3, wasting a decent performance by Sox starter Jon Lester.

The Sox stroked a couple of singles (Mike Lowell and Jason Varitek) in the 9th, but a double-play ball by Kevin Youkilis and Alex Cora's game-ending fly ball out to left field against George Sherrill, who now has 15 saves on the season.

The Sox are now 24-19 and need some serious home cooking to get back on track.
