Gabe Kapler just got a very nice reception from the Fenway crowd tonight. Tim Wakefield stepped off the mound to allow the crowd to acknowledge Kapler at the plate.

  1. That was pretty cool. I did like how Wake stepped off the mound for him in similar fashion to what Schill did last year when Trot returned.

    Wasn't Wake on the mound when Dave Roberts returned last year?
