Lester allows a hit

OAKLAND, Calif. - Jon Lester allowed a leadoff single to Jack Hannahan in the first inning. There will not be a second no-hitter.

Lester has been staked to a 1-0 lead on David Ortiz's 11th homer, in the top of the first, against Joe Blanton.
