Look! Look!

Nice work by Carlos Guillen on that one.

As David Ortiz doubled to right field, Dustin Pedroia was already nearing second base with an outstanding jump. But Guillen looked up, deking Pedroia into think Ortiz had hit a pop up. When he finally realized, after several beats of standing on second base, he ran into Guillen, trying to push him out of the way. He made it to third, but likely could have scored otherwise.

  1. I still have respect for pedroia, even though that was kinda stupid. He is still one of my favorite players.

  1. Wouldn't that be considered obstruction, and Dustin be awarded another base?
