Lugo out

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff May 10, 2008 04:03 PM

Julio Lugo said he's suffering from headaches and the effects of a slight concussion as a result of a collision at second base last night and was scratched from tonight's lineup. We'll have more soon.

  1. Is he sure that maybe he shouldn't hit the DL for a while? I hate to say it but I really think Theo got a dud with this guy. Never gets the BIG hit, and couldn't catch a baloon in a phone booth. He strikes me as a little kid hanging around with the big guys when I see him in the Sox dugout. With Cora coming of the DL maybe Tito needs to send Julio down to the schoolyard for a little R and R and hopefully a chance to get his act together.

  1. Take as long as you need, Julio. You've been giving everyone else headaches with your lousy fielding...
