Ortiz leaves game after hurting hand

BALTIMORE - David Ortiz has left the game with the count 3-2 in the ninth after injuring his left hand after a swing in which he fouled a ball to the left side. He was replaced by Sean Casey.

The Sox are trying to hold on to a 6-3 lead.
