MINNEAPOLIS - Jonathan Papelbon isurrendered a two-run single to Mike Lamb in the bottom of the ninth as the Twins took a 7-6 win.

  1. Another one you can pin on Lugo, he doesn't boot that ball early in the game this was an easy win. They should be 5-0 on this road trip. If they miss the playoffs by a game or two we will be looking back at Wednesday and tonight's game.

  1. i cannot understand why the two runners were allowed to steal two bases without an attempt to throwing the out. two runners score because they were on bases 2nd and 3rd. there would have only one runner score instead of two.

  1. Papelbon is surely on the hook for this blown save but you make it sound like he had two consecutive bad outings. The prior so called blown save was Lugo's fault if any blame must be placed. THe only ball hit out of the infield was a broken bat flare
