Quiet day

MINNEAPOLIS - Pretty quiet here at the Metrodome today.

Terry Francona held his press conference in the kids room near the Sox locker room. Lots of strollers, bubble gum machines and rocking chairs around, but not much on the news front.

Bartolo Colon will pitch for Pawtucket tomorrow, but the PawSox got rained out today which means Alex Cora and Sean Casey didn't get a chance to play. Both are still eligible to come off the DL on Sunday.

This will be an interesting series as we watch two of the more exciting young players in the game in Jacoby Ellsbury and Carlos Gomez take the field. They are considered two of the fastest players in baseball. The scouts I've talked to seem to think Gomez, who has already hit for the cycle, is a little bit faster...

Theo Epstein is off scouting some amateur talent for the upcoming June draft....
