Red Sox down in order in the first
The Sox' offensive woes continued into the first inning. Rays' righthander Edwin Jackson gave up nothing in the bottom of the first, as the Sox sent just three batters to the plate. It was three up, three down as Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz failed to reach.
