OAKLAND, Calif. - The Red Sox have been swept by the A's, losing, 6-3, Sunday afternoon at McAfee Coliseum before a sellout crowd of 35,067.

The Sox now travel to Seattle to play the hapless Mariners, who have to fly across the country from New York to host the Sox at Safeco Monday night.

Huston Street recorded his 11th save in the ninth. Jon Lester (3-3) got the loss as the Sox have fallen to 10-17 on the road.

  1. Oh how I love to watch the Red $ox lose. 10-17 when they play in ballparks with dimensions that are MLB regulation. Manny shows his true minor league defensive ability when he doesn't have that ridiculous left field wall behind him. Who will the $ox try to get by the 7/31 deadline to try and buy another World Series?

  1. Yesterdays game was a disgrace to the game of baseball...3 errors, 2 of which cost 3 runs? What is it with Francoma letting Logo stay in there and single handly demorilize the team while he has a great little short stop sitting down in the minors? I don't get it. Wake up Terry!
