Sox roughing up Kazmir

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff May 4, 2008 02:54 PM

Three straight hits by Dustin Pedroia (single), Kevin Youkilis (double), and Manny Ramirez (double) have produced two runs in the third. One of the runs scored on a wild pitch by Kazmir, who has shown some signs of rustiness in his '08 debut.

Kazmir did bow his neck and got the next three outs, two on strikeouts of Mike Lowell and Jason Varitek, to escape the third trailing, 3-0.
