PHILADELPHIA - Red Sox pitching took quite a beating here tonight. Sox hurlers allowed eight runs on 12 hits and three homers in an 8-2 loss to the NL East leaders.

One of the biggest upsets is that it didn't rain. Bad weather looked as if it were going to blow through and held off for the duration of the game.

Bad news: Bartolo Colon left after four innings with back spasms. Kevin Youkilis was a late scratch from the lineup with back spasms.

Good night from Philly.
