Now they really hate him

PHILADELPHIA - J.D. Drew just shrugs off the obvious hatred for him in Philly stemming from the time he passed on a $3 million signing bonus as a first round draft pick.

"Yeah, they love me here," laughed Drew. "What can you do?"

Just keep rubbing it in, I guess. Drew is enjoying his Red Sox renaissance at the moment. Drew is hitting left-handed pitching at a .306 clip and righties at .317. After today's three-run homer in the first inning against Kyle Kendrick, Drew has hit 7 homers in his last 11 games.

Drew's blast, hit to right-center on an 0-1 pitch, was followed by a solo homer from Mike Lowell, making it 4-0.
