A few things and lineups.....
BALTIMORE - Warm day here in Baltimore. The Sox and Orioles go at it this afternoon. Brad Mills will manage the Sox with Terry Francona away at his daughter's high school graduation. Mills now has managed three games against Baltimore to Francona's two.
David Ortiz is out of the lineup with a left wrist strain. He had an ice pack on it in the clubhouse moments ago. Mills said the Sox would put Ortiz through the usual treatments today and see how it responds. Ortiz said he will have an MRI tomorrow or Tuesday.
Jeff Bailey gets a start in left field. Mills was asked how Bailey's defense is and he said that Bailey had looked good at the corners at Pawtucket and he had no reservations about putting the former catcher out there.
J.D. Drew was back in right, over his vertigo.
Mills said Jacoby Ellsbury pretty much has the green light but is given the red light at times in certain situations. Ellsbury stole three bases Saturday night and has 26 for the season.
