Crisp suspension reduced
Major League Baseball reduced Coco Crisp's suspension from 7 games to 5.
The punishment, the result of Crisp charging the mound against Tampa Bay earlier this month at Fenway Park, is scheduled to begin tomorrow, which means Crisp would miss the final two games of the Houston series and all three games of the upcoming Rays' series.
Crisp would be eligible to return to the lineup Thursday for the opener of a four-game series against the Yankees in New York.
Crisp is the only Sox player who hasn't served his time for the incident against Tampa Bay. Sean Casey completed his three-game suspension Wednesday and is eligible to return tonight against the Astros, while Jon Lester served a five-game suspension from June 6-11.

What a SHOCK! You knew all along that the goal was to make sure Crisp wouldn't play in Tampa. Way to go Bud.
Sad..It could be much better he gets suspended forever. He really doesn't help the team. Coco, Lugo and Timlin are to go!
