Drew shows arm strength

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff June 22, 2008 06:43 PM

J.D. Drew made a heck of a throw to nail Chris Duncan at the plate, but why was Duncan sent home on Adam Kennedy's single with one out in the 13th? The Cardinals could have had runners at first and third with one out. The Sox got out of the inning after quite a collision at the plate, as Duncan bowled over a ducking Jason Varitek, but Varitek held on for the out.
