Ellsbury does it again

CINCINNATI - Jacoby Ellsbury has just created the first Sox run.

Let me digress. During the pre-game managers press briefing MLB.com's Mike Petraglia brought up the point that in these times where both David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez are missing in the lineup can speed make up for their loss? Well, we saw first hand in the first inning that it can.

Ellsbury singled, moved to second on a wild pitch by Edwin Volquez and then stole third and drew a bad throw by catcher Paul Bako, which allowed Ellsbury to score.

It was Ellsbury's 30th steal and is now 6-for-6 swiping third.
