Give Cash credit

Posted by Nick Cafardo, Globe Staff June 2, 2008 08:57 PM

BALTIMORE - Give Kevin Cash a little credit for his hard work in the batting cage lately. This guy has been working overtime with hitting coach Dave Magadan and it paid off in a big way in the seventh inning.

Cash doubled to the wall in right-center scoring Alex Cora, who had walked, tying the game at 2.

That was also the end for Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie, who pitched pretty well. Lefthander Jamie Walker just came on and whiffed Jacoby Ellsbury.
