CINCINNATI - Homer Bailey has allowed a pair of solo homers in the third to Jacoby Ellsbury and J.D. Drew. After walking Mike Lowell with one out, he's out of the game.

Bailey has allowed six home runs in 12-1/3 innings this season. Lefthander Jeremy Affeldt has come on. The Red Sox lead, 5-0.
