Sox hammer O's, 9-2

Posted by Monique Walker, Globe Staff June 12, 2008 08:22 PM

The Red Sox ended their homestand with a 9-2 win over the Orioles as Mike Lowell (grand slam), Kevin Youkilis, and J.D. Drew each hit their 10th home run.

Next up for the Red Sox is a return to interleague play to face the Reds in Cincinnati tomorrow. Justin Masterson is scheduled to pitch for Boston.

  1. Why does Tito not run Jacoby when he is on first base. Even when they pitch out they still have trouble making it a close play at second. What is Tito thinking? Does anyone have a logical answer? I don't.
