Manny goes yard...again
Baxter Holmes, Globe Correspondent
Manny Ramirez extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a 2-run homer -- his 14th of the season -- in the first inning against Seattle Mariners pitcher Miguel Batista.
On a 2-0 count, Rameriz bombed it over the Green Monster, scoring J.D. Drew who tripled in the previous at-bat.
Manny ties Eddie Murray for 23rd all-time on the MLB homer list.

That should be 23rd on the all-time HR list, not the Red Sox HR list, especially since Murray never played for the Sox.
Eddie Murray played for the red sox?
You mean on the All time HR list?
Hey Baxter,
I suppose you mean he's tied with Eddie Murray for 23rd all-time since Eddie didn't play for the Sox and only Jimmie and Ted are ahead of Manny in Sox history.
didn't realize Eddie Murray played for the Red Sox??????
