Masterson off the hook

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff June 3, 2008 08:59 PM

With the Red Sox scoring three runs -- so far -- in the bottom of the sixth inning, Justin Masterson is now the pitcher of record on the winning side. The big blow was Coco Crisp's two-run double to left field that knocked out Matt Garza.

Grant Balfour is now in to pitch.

It's 6-4, the Red Sox leading the Rays.
